Darwi Tex water-based textile colours have been specially created for use on light textiles. It is semi-transparent. For darker fabrics, add opacifier to the paint. Darwi Tex paint can be mixed with water to create a watercolor effect before drying. The consistency of the paint is ideal for making stencils. It is not too liquid and does not pack, which allows easy application. This painting is also suitable for use with children.

Once fixed, the painting does not go away anymore. It can be passed through the machine up to 60 ° C. There is no risk of discolouration.

There are matt, metallic, pearlescent, fluorescent or sequined base shades and the opacifying colour. All these shades are resistant to light and the colour does not change. The available packaging is 50 or 250 ml.

How to use Darwi Tex paint?

Prepare your colours and your material. Place a sheet of paper or cardboard under the surface you are going to paint.

Opacify the colours if you are going to paint on a dark fabric. Start painting the larger surfaces with a brush with the colours in pots. For details and fine lines, use the TEX, TEX OPAK or TEX GLITTER markers.

Use adhesive CUTCUTCUT stencils and Trio-Appli finger applicators of the same brand to stamp the paint within the stencil.

Let it dry for a few minutes. Once your drawing is dry, iron the fabric on the backside using your iron, cotton stitch, without using the steam that could damage the paint. Your pattern is now indelible. Wash your equipment with water.

Markers available are:

Tex: thin or large tips of 1 or 3 mm, without pump and ready to use, for light fabrics.
Tex Opak: 15 colors 100% opaque, adapted to dark fabrics or jeans
Tex Glitter: 15 glitter colours for light or dark fabrics
Assortments of 12 colours for each type of marker
Spare points are also available in bags of 10. If you use your markers on an abrasive material (jeans, some thick fabrics ...), your tips will deteriorate and need to be replaced from time to time. The same is true if felts are used by children who are at risk of damaging the mines.
