For glass, specific colors are available. The Darwi Glass range is particularly bright and luminous and alcohol-based.
You can use it on transparent substrates such as glass or plastic and for other materials such as wood, plaster or polystyrene. After 24 hours of drying, the paint will be completely resistant to damages or light and will even withstand UV.
The range of Darwi Glass glass paints can be used to tint resins such as our Cernit Finish Glass kit. Create your hue using miscible colors and make your jewelry colorful with this glass!
Once diluted with the medium, this Glass paint can be used in the same way as an alcohol ink. It can be used with Cernit polymer clay to create effects when raw or baked. On raw clay, it is possible to create translucent spots of color. On baked polymer Clay, it will be possible to use Darwi Glass as a colored varnish.

The Darwi Glass range consists of various products:

• The range of Darwi Glass glass paints can be used to tint resins such as our Cernit Finish Glass kit. Create your shade using mixable colours and make your jewelry even more colorful with this glass!

• The Glass contour in 4 colors in tubes, used for the stained glass technique or as an outliner to delimit the edges of the drawing.

• The medium is a base of the painting that reduces the intensity of colors without changing the tone or the consistency. For a thick layer application, the medium will be appreciated as it gives a lighter tone than a pure colour. It can also be used as a varnish for maximum shine.

• The diluent used to make the colors more liquid and fluid, to change the consistency. You can then use the product as an alcohol ink.

• The colour range: 9 transparent shades and opaque white and black. If you add white to your transparent colors, you will create opaque pastel colors.

How to use the Darwi Glass paints ?

Degrease the surface to be painted with alcohol or Darwi Cleaner.
Prepare your colours: add the medium for a less intense color, thinner for a more liquid texture or white for pastel and opaque shades.
For the stained glass technique, use the glass outliner to draw the boundaries of your drawing. Once the outline is dry, fill with the glass paint.
If you want to create enamel effects on the wood, first apply the white paint in a thick layer. Then add a few drops of the chosen color with the tip of a toothpick.
Let the realization dry for 24h. Clean your equipment with Darwi Cleaner for brushes or a degreaser such as alcohol, ethanol or methanol.
Do not use vinegar to clean recently painted surfaces as the paint will crack. Darwi Glass glass paint is not suitable for outdoor use.
Once the paint has dried no protective varnish is needed.
